The Italian Job

Our special “Patti Russo” famed originally by her performances with Queen, Meat Loaf and Cher performed at this event….

The famous British actor Michael Caine starred in the “Italian Job” back in 1969 as a British Crook (not “cook”) stealing gold ingots from Italy. It also included Noel Coward and Benny Hill as the computer genius .

Its soundtrack was composed by Quincy Jones, and includes “Getta Bloomin’ Move On” (usually referred to as “The Self-Preservation Society”, after its chorus.

In November 2004, Total Film named The Italian Job the 27th greatest British film of all time.Now the British Executive Chef Julian Baker is stealing the real gold from Italy. the cuisine and the Mini Coopers will be there to supply the transport.

The event was hosted at Toscana Divino for a light hearted look back and a great opportunity to network with our fellow European and American friends. Complimentary Cocktails was served with some light English styled bites mixed with an Italian flavor.
