Siena Tavern Opens at Miami Beach

Top Chef season 5 fan favorite Fabio Viviani along with Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson brings Chicago – based Siena Tavern to Miami. They have officially opened their doors last November 10, 2014 to the public. Siena Tavern Miami will bring the sophistication and charisma of Viviani’s cuisine, as well as the energy of a bustling bar, to the cornerstone of Miami Beach‘s South of Fifth dining scene. Combining Fabio Viviani’s crowd-pleasing made-from-scratch menu, with DineAmic’s success in the hospitality sphere, Siena Tavern will offer diners an experience that is simultaneously comfortable, vibrant and social. Rare for Miami, Siena Tavern Miami offers a 250-space parking lot (above the restaurant) so finding a spot in the area will not be an issue. Here is more information about Siena Tavern :

According to Eater :
House-made pastas, cheeses and pizzas are the stars of the menu along with its staple dishes like the Wagyu Beer Meatball and Gnocchi with Truffle Cream and Crispy Pancetta. As for the Miami kitchen, led by former Casa Tua chef Paolo del Papa, expect a larger crudo and raw bar selections than its Chicago sister. And because of its close proximity to the beach many dishes have been “lightened up” so you don’t have to worry about looking pudgy in that bikini after your meal.
Keeping with the local trend Siena Tavern Miami called upon the Bar Lab guys to create their drink program, featuring plenty of citrus-based drinks and light “sippable” wines along with a special “Siena Brew” made just for them by Wynwood Brewing Company.

According to Urban Daddy :

“Six crucial facts :
1. It’s in the old China Grill spot.
Yes, it’s got some big shoes to fill. But… that won’t be a problem.
2. There’s a crudo-and-pizza bar.
It’s toward the back. Grab a seat there and go the hamachi-with-truffle-honey-and-jalapeño route. Or the burrata-pie-from-a-Wood-Stone-oven route.
3. Of course, there’s also just a regular old bar.
And it’s a massive circular number that opens up to a patio. Great spot for a glass of wine or a cocktail designed by the Bar Lab boys.
4. Speaking of the patio…
They’ve got one. With Italian string lights, a vine-laden pergola and a sprawling olive tree that essentially sets the mood for…
5. Brunch.
But not until mid-December. Sorry.
6. The meter maids shall be displeased.
Because there’s a 250-space parking lot right above the building.”

According to Open Table :
Offering fresh, inventive cuisine and a comfortable atmosphere, DineAmic Group & renowned Top Chef Fabio Viviani’s palate-pleasing celebrated Italian menu will leave patrons asking for more. Boasting flavors unique to Viviani’s native Italy, the delicious dishes and refreshing atmosphere at Siena Tavern are destined to become the preferred dining destination for both locals and tourists.
