After a long wait since last year, Shikany is set to open at Wynwood this April. SHIKANY is a creative culinary environment located in the Wynwood district of Miami under the direction of Executive Chef & Proprietor Michael Shikany. 4,000 square feet of event space, indoor and outdoor dining and catering operations is the stage for chef & winemaker dinners, curated dining, cooking classes, cocktail receptions, corporate and private events and banquets. Here is more infomation about the Restaurants :
According to Urban Daddy :
“Shikany, your beautiful new go-to restaurant for a fine, fine dinner but also maybe a class on molecular cooking—now taking reservations for its April 11 debut in Wynwood.
Stepping into the cavernous space is like walking into the modern, sexy version of The Princess Bride’s Fire Swamp… with crystal chandeliers and shiny three-dimensional modules running floor-to-ceiling. (We did say it was the modern version.)
Anyway. Before grabbing a seat near the open kitchen, you and your date will step into the garden lounge for some wine and strategic planning. With plates like Cognac Vanilla Waffles and Goat’s Brie Spring Rolls asking for attention, it’s going to take a team effort if you’re going to get to the Maple Syrup Braised Wild Boar Cheeks. And nobody should miss out on boar cheeks.”
According to Food-E :
“Shikany will feature a restaurant and will offer mixology classes and cooking classes. The mixology classes and cooking classes will be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Shikany’s menus will change constantly and will give the diner a dining experience like no other.”
According to SoflaNights :
“Shikany’s concept is for dinners to be comprised of all small plates, priced between $60 and $175, open four nights a week, Thursday through Saturday. A sleek high-tech open kitchen, rich wood wall coverings, discrete lighting, stunning Victorian chandeliers, polished concrete floors and a dramatic glass wall compose a sensual and welcoming backdrop for Chef Shikany’s revolving menu of global cuisine.”
As they are being open this April, Miami City Social is looking forward to see their full menu details. Stay tuned in Miami City Social for more information.
