The second of two eateries and bars by The Cocktail Cartel and chef Giorgio Rapicavoli has officially debuted in Wynwood. Housed next door to their other new outpost, Grails Sports Bar, Spanglish Craft Cocktail is inspired by the different Hispanic backgrounds of the owners. Named after Miami’s “unofficial” langue of Spanglish, a hybrid of English and Spanish often heard in the Magic City, the chic bar celebrates the city’s multi-cultural background and is a reflection of the food the team grew up eating, the music they listened to, and how they celebrated holidays and birthdays. The bar-friendly menu created by Rapicavoli shows off his signature creativity with items like croqueta ‘buns’ made with Jupiña hoisin, cucumber, sesame and served in a bahn mi; churrasco tiradito with salsa anticucho; timba frita made with crispy queso blanco, guava, and Spanglish sauce; and ‘arroz con pollo’ made with creamy rice, peas, crispy chicken, and sofrito. The cocktails are as creative as they are Instagram-worthy. Think drinks like the cafecito Old Fashioned that is served in a cafetera, or the Spanglish and Chill, a tequila-based cocktail with strawberry infused sweet vermouth, tangerine, lemon, and pink peppercorn, served in a “popcorn bag” topped with caramel […]

Now with our commissary kitchen dialed in over these past few years it’s time to turn it out. And don’t forget the pickle!” The menu is built around Schwartz’s favorites and classic deli fare. Highlights include “Overstuffed Sandwiches” served on rye with a half a sour pickle and filled with options like hot pastrami, roasted turkey, or a pastrami-turkey combo. Guests can opt to “make it special” by adding Russian dressing and coleslaw for $3 more.
