Explore the alluring private gardens of Miami Beach on Saturday, March 15, when the Miami Beach Garden Conservancy presents the 13th Annual Miami Beach Garden Tour.
Tour participants will bike or drive on their own to visit six private Miami Beach homes, each with its own inspiring character and taste. Eye-catching features on display include a lovely vertical garden, outdoor fountains, peaceful water views, an outdoor kitchen and a gardenside artist’s studio.
The tour starts at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, where visitors will purchase tickets and pick up a map. After the tour, return to the Botanical Garden to enjoy:
– Fresh produce for sale at the Garden’s farmers’ market
– Live music from the indie-fusion band Broken Tenure
– Gems & Junque rummage sale
– Pet adoptions from Miami-Dade Animal Services
– Plant sale
– Food trucks

Tour tickets are $25 for Miami Beach Botanical Garden members and $30 for non-members. Purchase tickets in advance by phone at 305-673-7256, ext. 201; online; or in person at the Garden. The Farmer’s Market and other events at the Botanical Garden the day of the tour are free and open to the public.
The 2014 Miami Beach Garden Tour is presented by the Miami Beach Garden Conservancy, with financial and volunteer support from BB&T Bank and the Miami Beach Garden Club. Event proceeds benefit the Garden Conservancy’s arts and education programming at the Botanical Garden.
