Great Britain have been given a tough draw against Uruguay, Senegal and the UAE in the London 2012 men’s football tournament.
Meanwhile, the Great Britain women’s team will face New Zealand in Cardiff in the first event of the Olympic Games on July 25, two days before the opening ceremony.
Stuart Pearce’s men’s side face an opening fixture against Senegal at Old Trafford on July 26, before playing the UAE at Wembley on July 29 and Uruguay in Cardiff on August 1.
The top two teams from each group go through to the quarter-finals in the men’s competition.
Meanwhile, Hope Powell’s women’s team have been given a glamour tie against Brazil in their group and will also face Cameroon.
Cardiff plays host to their first two games against New Zealand and Cameroon, before they move to Wembley for the plum fixture against Brazil.
The women’s draw has only 12 teams as opposed to the 16 in the men’s draw.
The top two teams from each group and the two best third-placed teams qualify for the quarter-finals.
