Strike One: The "milkshakes" are way too thick like a Frosty from Wendy's. Wall's is MUCH better. Strike Two: $7.50 for a small cup? Way overpriced. Strike Three: The decor is from the 70's, not the 80's. That may very well be the way the his Mother's kitchen looked but the colors and patterns are definitely 1970's.

The 80's decor is really cool! The milkshake was ok but not worth the price. It was mostly whipcream.

Awesome place. Decorated 80's with 80's wallpaper, cabinetry, dishwasher and two working fridges (one that is keeping the wonderful selection of beers chilling). The milkshakes were awesome. Unfortunately the coffee grinder stopped working, so weren't able to get our cafecito. Loved the 80's living room with a TV and Atari, and an arcade Galaga machine.

Didn’t eat but we hung out while waiting for a table at Lokal, next door. Very cool decor. Worth stopping by for a walk down memory lane

It's a shame the ingredients are so low-quality, the place has the "80's kitchen parlor" theme down to a tee (being a Stranger Things fan, I'm a sucker for all things '80s). I can definitely feel the nostalgic vibe the owners are going for. Ice cream sandwiches and cold beer are kept in a retro fridge off the side of the milkshake bar, a cute touch. The sandwiches themselves are a disappointment. I had a Girl Scout Cookie, which featured watery mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiched between two bland chocolate cookies that tasted like cardboard. This was $6.50 total, more than I'd generally be willing to pay for an ice cream sandwich. The service is also slower than would be expected, as previous customers have mentioned. It would be awesome if they could organize their staff better and up the quality of the ingredients to justify the price - they've got a great idea going.
