I discovered Obra during Miami Spice week and I am so happy that I did. It is my new favorite restaurant. I have never had an issue finding parking near by and it is not in such a heavily busy spot in Brickell, so that is a plus in my opinion. The restaurant is very clean and so are the bathrooms. The decor is white, grey, and orange with a modern yet casual feel to the space. There are typical table and chair seating options, but every time I have gone I have sat at the large "bartop" in the center of the restaurant. Service is friendly and the food always comes out in a timely manner. Everything I have ordered has been phenomenal in flavor and quality. They play relatively loud music so this is a nice place for a friendly/fun dinner, not an intimate romantic dinner. The dessert is also delicious!!

Obra was a terrific experience. It seems casual until you taste the food which is anything but. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and beautiful. The server, Sophia, was great about telling us about all the dishes etc. You do have to valet across the street but it's not too hard to get to. 10/10 would go back!

A wonderful modern take on Latin cuisine. Although service can feel a bit quick (read: American Cheesecake Factory style), the food is wonderful and the atmosphere enjoyable.

Carlos's artwork in the kitchen is reflected in extraordinary and succulent dishes. Obra has a relaxed atmosphere, but don't let that fool you about the serious kitchen work. Whether sitting at the bar or at a table you can enjoy the vibrant feel the busy open kitchen gives. The foie gras, the pork shank, the sea urchin, the fish and a secret dish not yet in the menu were all amazing. Pair it with red or white wine and enjoy. The desserts were also really good, particularly the chocolate one. Service is at pair with the food, so you can't be let down. Keep up the good work Obra!

Checked this place out during Miami Spice - cool atmosphere and AMAZING seafood. There's so much to try in Miami, so I rarely go to a restaurant twice, but I'll definitely be going back to Over Kitchen!
