Chug’s Cuban Diner

Chug’s Diner is a Cuban American diner opened by the little Havana-raised owner of “Ariete’s” Michael Beltran, owners of famous and nationally acclaimed Coconut Grove Restaurant. Chug’s Diner is now open in the former Akashi Space. Their fabulous menu will be divided up into breakfast, fritas, handhelds, salads, large plates, with milk, and sweets and baked goods. The sweets and baked goods portion of the menu is headlined by Pastelito Papi, who will be serving up favourites like buffalo chicken, peanut butter and jelly, and redland guava pastelitos, alongside croquetas filled with ham and short rib. Other desserts like cajeta and goat cheese flan, strawberry cheesecake cookies and fluffernutters round out the menu. Reviews from Yelp: 5/28/2019 Alec W. – Chamblee, GA- My girlfriend and I went to Chug’s for lunch. They offer a “Cuban Sandwich for Two” that was ~$18 that was extremely good! I will definitely go eat at Chug’s the next time I’m in Miami. Reviews from Google: 5/27/2019 Michael Dunlevy – Awesome place to catch a quick meal. Had Chug Burger – excellent.
