The highly anticipated Chotto Matte Peruvian-Japanese London based restaurant has opened on Lincoln Road. Experience an assortment of sushi and sashimi from their sushi bar, Lomo saltado, or a delicious pisco sour cocktail in the modern Miami Beach restaurant!

According to Urban Daddy:

“The indoor palm trees. The hanging garden. The mixture of natural stone, carbon steel, tinted glass and dark timber. It all lends itself particularly well to slipping back to the sushi bar for tuna yuzu and aubergine miso.”

According to Local Guide:

“Excellent good and drinks! Finally a great alternative on the Beach. The staff is friendly and the dishes were well presented and original.”

One of the best restaurants in Miami and possibly in Florida. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the explosion of tastes! A must-try.

Great drinks, friendly employees and a great atmosphere. Food is tasty but does not live up to the higher price tag. However, that being said my parents and I really enjoyed the place.

Haven't eaten here yet, but I know the GM. I popped in to say hello and take a look at the place. Very nice, very stylish. Would recommend dining here on the atmosphere alone.

Went here for Miami Spice 2018 and the food was great. I wish my boyfriend and I hadn't eaten so many snacks before going because the Spice menu was a ~7 course menu verses what we thought would be a 3 course menu lol. Service was good, food prep and presentation was good and the atmosphere was good. Some of the wall tables are a little close together so that may bother some people. I had fun listening to the people next to us on their first date though :). My only complaint would be that the flavors seemed a little too similar for a lot of the items - meaning that even though the main ingredients were different, it seemed like a lot of the same spices or acid components we're used in all of the dishes. Would have liked to maybe try some more variety of flavors from the spice menu. It was great though! I would go again definitely.

The place was boiling hot and humid. I couldn't even enjoy my food or my time at the restaurant due to how uncomfortable I was. Everyone at the table was sweating. Also, I had my vape with me at my table when a server from the restaurant came and touched my back and asked me to put it away in a very passive aggressive tone. This man, not only failed to introduce himself but also touched me without permission, which is seen as a complete disrespect in my culture. I also suffer from back pain and shoulder pain, which made me wince when he touched my back, he didn't even apologize. This made me feel uncomfortable and awkward. They really need to reevaluate how they treat their customers. I would think twice before making a reservation at this place.
