Michelin starred sushi sensation Azabu has opened in Miami Beach with varieties of sake and sushi to pick from. The “hidden” sushi counter is where you will find delicious variations of omakase imported from Japan.
Available only at the bar every Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., Azabu has debuted a happy hour. Experience exotic cocktails made with Japanese spirits and sakes paired with small bites.
According to Zagat:
“This New York offshoot boasts a traditional izakaya menu, a cocktail bar pouring sake and whiskey, and a hidden sushi counter serving traditional omakase. The dimly-lit, intimate space features a minimalist aesthetic.”
According to UrbanDaddy:
“The first thing you’ll encounter will be the latter’s marble counter and its pyramid of whiskeys and sakes. And cocktails like the Spring in Tokyo with shochu, umeshu and matcha powder. Sip on one of those and point at the whimsical, six-foot bonsai tree.”
