Area 31’s breathtaking vistas provide the wow factor, but Chef Birk’s elegant yet approachable cuisine draws full attention to the plate. Our name is drawn from Fishing Area 31, an international zone designated by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization as a sustainable fishery, a vision that Area 31 embraces and advances. From the kitchen to the bar, we like to source local—so local, in fact, that sometimes we don’t even have to leave the premises! Our on-site herb garden provides fresh ingredients to both the kitchen and the bar and is located on our spectacular outdoor Terrace Lounge, Miami’s favorite elevated hangout. Habitually innovative, often breathtaking and always welcoming, Area 31 is here to make sure you’re never more than an elevator ride from a singular Miami experience.

Have been here Multiple times, the food is always very tasty and the customer service is always amazing. The tables by the kitchen are a bit loud so I do not recommend if looking for quietness. Overall very good

My husband brought us here for our anniversary. The food was nice service was great. My only negative comment is that the terrace was closed. :/

Located on the 16th floor, this is one of the best restaurants I have been too in a long time. It mixes pool side dining with upscale food(yes, it's true). The wait staff is knowledgeable and always around. The food selection is amazing and the shrimp are bigger than your hands. Go here.

We ate outside at the pop-up grill overlooking the Miami river with a full moon rising. The food was great and the service attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definatly not inexpensive but then it is a premier property and view. The only down side was the loud club music at the Friday happy hour at the other end of the pool but we could at least carry on a normal conversation. It will be interesting to see how it works out once the construction of the new condo tower, Aston Martin right next door, reaches the pool deck level.

To be completely honest, I was only here for a short time for late lunch and it is nice, but it was raining so I couldn't take advantage of the balcony view. The pizza and drinks are great! Highly recommend the Jade Blade, very refreshing!
