Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Center for Latin American and Caribbean Initiatives (CLACI) will host a conversation with Dr. Vicente Palomera titled The Potential of Psychoanalysis at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 23, at the Wolfson Campus.
The renowned scientist, a distinguished member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis and the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis in Spain, will explore how humans, when faced with a crisis or challenge, may decide to seek guidance from a psychoanalyst and what they can expect during therapy. Palomera will be among a group of experts headlining an annual convention on psychoanalysis in Miami. 

The event will be presented in English, and is free and open to the community. Free parking will be available at the MDC Garage – Building 7 – on Fifth Street, between NE Second and Third Avenues.
