Under the artistic direction of Peter London, the Peter London Global Dance Company (PLGDC) has commissioned works from five of South Florida’s young dancers and emerging choreographers to create cutting-edge choreography in the improvisational, contemporary dance styles sweeping the global dance world.

London says, “We are committed to the core principle of our mission, which is to provide opportunities for local dancers and choreographers who have not traditionally had the opportunity to practice their art professionally and locally.” The thrilling new choreography to be premiered at PLGDC’s first annual “Victoria London Emerging Choreographers Showcase” will feature works by Luis Cuevas, Justin Rapaport, Lloyd Knight (soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company), Gentry George (former AILEY ll dancer and founding artistic director of his own dance company) and Armando Gonzalez (soloist with the Geneva Ballet).

Fourteen magnificent PLGDC dancers, led by South Florida’s contemporary dance stars Anasthasia Grand-Pierre, Yu-Mien Wu, Sasha Caicedo and Jasmine Howell, will showcase the Company’s signature off-the-table choreography and fierce, “take it to the wall” flavor!
