Dying City is an original play by Christopher Shinn, following a young therapist a year after her husband’s death, when she is confronted by his twin brother who she has been avoiding.

The Washington Post calls the play “A low-simmering psychological mystery, the sort of sophisticated evening that comes to a satisfying end without the burden of a thorough explanation.”

This free community theater performance is presented by the non-profit theater group, Ground Up & Rising, who describe their vision as “talking to their audience, where so many choose to preach.” Showtimes are at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, Saturday September 13 and Sunday the 14.
