Written by Argentine author Santiago Serrano, Dinossauros (Portuguese for dinosaurs) is a play about sensitivity and the quest for happiness in an increasingly oppressive world. Attributes like naiveté, tenderness and honesty describe the characters Silvina and Nicolas, true members of an endangered species, dinosaurs who, to avoid extinction, must create a possible future for themselves. Silvina and Nicolas struggle for the right to escape the routine that kills the soul and to hope again, making the world’s strangest beings, the confused dinosaurs lost in the streets of the big cities, shake of the dust of ages and come to life again, aspiring, this time, to happiness.
