It’s the hottest ticket in town and one of the coolest parties in Miami every year. On November 16, Beaux Arts will present its 67th annual ball, themed “Fire & Ice.” Miami’s longest running and most anticipated costume ball will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami where guests will gather for a fun and philanthropic night benefiting the University of Miami Lowe Art Museum and Beaux Arts’ educational programs.
Ice Bars and Fire dancers will bring the theme to life, along with a live band and delicious theme-based foods and cocktails sponsored by Bacardi. The attendees’ always over-the-top costumes will steal the show in the annual costume contest.
This year’s ball is chaired by Daniella Carazo Reynolds and Kaitlyn Rieder, and event décor is chaired by Beaux Arts Vice President Michele Reese Granger.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on luxurious silent auction items, including a trip to the exquisite Casa Chameleon Hotel in Costa Rica, that was just listed as a World’s Top 100 Hotel, a weekend stay at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, and much more. A seven-day Norwegian cruise, a diamond necklace from Snow’s Jewelers, and a Tucci umbrella are offered in a raffle hoping to raise large critical funds for Beaux Arts mission.
“This year’s ball theme year celebrates Beaux Arts fiery passion for raising money to spread arts appreciation in South Florida,” Beaux Arts President Lauren Dowlen said. “With the help of countless supporters and sponsors, we are committed to keeping Beaux Art educational programs and the Lowe Art Museum years to come in our community and the proceeds from this ball will allow us to do that.”
