What do tight skirts and church have in common? Not much, unless you’re Britney Spears.
The mother of two has been spotted heading to her places of worship in a series of short hemlines and curve-hugging dresses. Her inappropriate Sunday attire shouldn’t come as a huge shock: We know the pop star has an affinity for pushing the fashion boundaries when it comes to dressing for the holy house. Remember her Catholic schoolgirl-gone-wrong getup in “Baby One More Time,” anyone?
Either way, her latest church ensembles have left us praying for her to get a stylist.

Holy hot mess! Most people reserve black knee-high boots for a night on the town, but the “I Wanna Go” singer strutted right into the Calvary Community Church in Westlake, California, on Sunday in a set of suede, up-to-there boots with her boyfriend, David Lucado, in tow. The 31-year-old performer polished off her look with a two-tone turtleneck dress, which hugged her ample curves and showed off her fit bod. One has to wonder how in the world you kneel down and pray in that! More importantly, Spears must have been sweating bullets in the sweater-like dress. The temperature was in the mid-80s this weekend in sunny Los Angeles.

If looking good at church is a sin, then the blond bombshell is headed straight to Hades. Spears attended a church in Thousand Oaks, California, on January 27, in a cream crochet-and-lace blouse, a skintight black skirt, and a pair of black peep-toe pumps. She finished off her Sunday service attire with blown-out tresses and a mile-wide grin. While it wasn’t quite the look of a church mouse — that rising hemline on her skirt just can’t be ignored — her overall appearance was nice. That doesn’t mean that pastors wouldn’t likely “scream and shout” over the provocative number.

Is Brit Brit headed to meet up with the cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” or to Easter Sunday services? Sadly, it’s the latter. The former Mouseketeer ditched the normally festive pastel colors you see around the springtime holiday for a drab black-and-tan lace frock with a low-cut neckline. The dress was literally “Toxic” once she finished it off with a pair of black booties. Honestly B, we expect more from you!
