American Social now opens at Brickell

Honoring our country’s rich heritage, American Social’s warm decor features gas lanterns, original old-Chicago brick walls, and a good old-fashioned handcrafted Ipe wood bar. Also available are our two self-serve beer tap tables where you & up to eight of your friends can enjoy four of your favorite craft beers from the Lazy-Susan draft system in the center of the table – it’s like having 4 kegs right at your fingertips! Now American Social open their second post at Brickell. They’ve open at 690 SW 1st Ct. Here is more information about American Social Brickell :

According to Urban Daddy :

“First, take a look around. (This slideshow might help.) That Americana-sports-bar thing: in full effect. Pillows with the American flag on them: check. Covers of Life magazine on the wall: check. Busts of former presidents eating slices of apple pie while watching baseball: well, no. But someone should get on that. And the concept’s pretty much the same as their Fort Lauderdale counterpart. You’ll ask your friendly barkeep for a card to activate the self-serve machines and start pouring. Funky Buddha Hop Gun, Dogfish Burton Baton—the taps will change, but their ability to wash down some wild-boar mac and cheese will remain gloriously intact.”

According to NewTimes :

“Every guy dreams of having a man cave, the kind of place equipped with self-serve craft beer, 25 TVs to properly watch sports games simultaneously without having to lift a finger to change the channel, comfortable seating with plush American flag pillows, and burgers. Lots of them. Sounds like the American dream, huh? It’s close, and it’s all happening at American Social.

After what seems like ages of anticipation, Fort Lauderdale’s popular American comfort gastropub/bar/weekend lounge has opened on the ground floor of the Neo Vertika building (where Waxy’s used to be). You know the space — all 10,000 square feet of it. And now you’ll become even more familiar because AmSo (that’s what American Social likes to be called) is the kind of place you never want to leave. Not when you’ve got a gargantuan booth with built-in taps that fits eight people. It’s like your home away from home.” written by Carla Torres.

According to Eater :

“Not only will American Social’s Brickell location be triple the size (6,500 sqft. of interior space, 3,000 sqft. of canopied waterfront dining and 200 sqft. of dockage) of the original on Las Olas Boulevard, but it’ll also have a ton of new menu options. Stepping in to create said new options is chef Christopher Palmer, who’s previously held positions at restaurants like Café Boulud, Taste Gastropub and, most recently, Tequila Cowboy. Once AmSo gets rolling, they’ll be open for lunch, dinner and late night bites. ” written by Ana Heretoiu.

According to Yelp :

“Came here Monday night and was very impressed!  The decor is beautiful, food was amazing, and excellent service. My wife enjoy their $8 AmSo Burger (Monday Night Special) and I had the Chicken B.L.A.T.  Both menu items were delicious and they have a huge selection of craft beer. I know they have a location in Fort Lauderdale, but this location seems to be twice the size. We sat inside but the patio was full and it is overlooking the Miami River. Very pretty. This seems like the type of place that is laid back, yet classy. They have a good amount of TV’s and seems perfect for sports. I will be back here on Sunday for football.” written by Paul G. “AmSo is in Miami!!! Finally!!!! Perfect mix of sports bar, class, supper bar/club, and food. Delighted that this location finally opened. This is hands down is my favorite FLL watering hole and the only place I will go when I’m there. Excellent music, food, energy, and atmosphere. I will be using this location opening as my new tool to drag my FLL AmSo groupies to the Miami location. This is one of the best young professional bars/restaurants in South Florida. HOTT, young, fresh, and fun. The perfect mix of sports bar, class, and spectacular food. I’ve yet to have a bad menu item here.” written by Abbey G. (5 Stars).
