In collaboration with the City of Miami, the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking planning & engineering consultants/firms to respond to a Request for Information (RFI) and provide a breakdown regarding the estimated costs and anticipated scheduling/timeline to fully design, secure permitting, and construct a living shoreline demonstration project at two (2) possible locations in downtown Miami/Biscayne Bay. With the goal to bolster our downtown urban waterfront and protect all of the living and human assets that are protected by it, the Miami DDA is exploring green infrastructure solutions to strengthen Downtown’s long term resilience.  One of the ways to accomplish this is to collaborate with our partner agencies to design, construct, maintain and study a living shoreline demonstration project. If you are interested, all responses and inquiries should be sent to Neal Schafers, at schafers@miamidda.com.  Responses are due by Wednesday, February 18, 2020 at 11:59PM.  Thank you. > Click here to download the RFI.
