Enjoyed my stay at the sagamore , they referred to a very nice salon across from it where I had my hair done . Ask concierge for good places and restaurants to go very helpful

The best thing about this hotel is the art throughout the building and grounds. Close behind is the informal restaurant that offers excellent food and beautiful presentations. The room lacked the polish for 5 stars - a bit of rust in the bathroom, a bed that wasn't too notch, and a noisy squeaky AC. Though some will consider this trivial there was no complimentary coffee in the morning - as an early riser this is important while I'm reading the news waiting for my family to get up. On the other hand the wifi signal was strong and fast wherever I went throughout the property.

All good minus the service. Did not allow entry to guests due to larger than normal party size, while staying in penthouse suite. Expensive room, with a max capacity of 3 people.

Each time I go to Miami I try to stay at the Sagamore. It is a fabulous location, wonderful boutique hotel, with friendly staff. They have recently changed management but it has kept it's focus on art. The art at the hotel is great! It is very modern and frequently changes. The rooms are a good size, especially when you have a suite. The two-level rooms are good for 4 people but the penthouse is best if you have more. It is a great hotel for groups as well as couples. Staff are very accommodating to requests and always go above and beyond. Shout out to Mariano at the front desk for making out stay amazing! I hope to be back soon...

First off, I'm not a critical customer, and have never written a negative review for a business, but was truly disgusted when the valets significantly damaged my brand new BMW M3 and claimed zero responsibility. The valet intentionally obscured the damage when he pulled it around by parking close to bushes to hide it. Apparently the goal was for me not to notice and drive off the lot, which I did. I discovered the damage the next time I stopped and parked, and called the Sagamore immediately, then drove back to the hotel. Of course, because I drove off the lot, they denied everything and claimed I must have done it, which the valet who damaged it knows is nonsense. I wonder why it took 40 minutes to bring my car around… The assistant manager James did a song and dance about doing his best to help me, and promised to call me the following Thursday to follow up. No surprise, I never heard from James, he never returned my calls, and I ended up having to pay for the damage. I gave him every opportunity to do the right thing, but he offered nothing once I was gone, not even a refund of the overpriced $42/day fee to valet. Please do not valet your car if you decide to stay at the Sagamore.
