My wife and I stayed at Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay before and after our recent Cruise. We left the hotel on Sunday last to return to Ireland. I must say our experience of staying in the hotel on Friday 3rd and Saturday 11th of November were the best hotel experiences we ever had. I had the misfortune of leaving my wallet in the cab that brought us from Miami Airport. I must say the hotel staff could not have been more helpful to me. On the following morning the cab driver called me to say he had my wallet and would bring it to the hotel. What an honest man. Our room was top class and breakfast was wonderful with friendly waiter and excellent food. We also had an evening meal which was also excellent. The concierge was most helpful with directions and advice. Excellent coffee shop in foyer of hotel. Very good luggage storage while waiting to go to airport. Would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to stay there again at some time in the future

We stayed last Friday night for a cruise the next day out of Miami and everything was great! The rooms were clean and beds slept good. Food was very good and Tommy in the bar area was great! Beautiful location and enjoyed it!

I’ve stayed at this property on numerous occasions and it meets most expectations for lodging. Great location with beautiful views, nice pool with some fun games for families (i.e., giant connect four), and a decent sized fitness center. Given my status, I generally receive upgraded rooms, lounge access, and complimentary breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby. The service and (breakfast) menu has always been consistent and enjoyable. As a result, this hotel is a regular place to stay for me. I recently stayed during the hurricane in Sep 2017. The hotel was evacuated during my stay, and my reward redemption reservation was impacted causing me to lose the fifth night of my reservation. The hotel was responsive with accommodation for this lost night, for which I am grateful. Appreciate the responsiveness and service.

My reservation was cancelled 6 days before my stay. I got an e-mail to let me know this. It said it was due to Irma, which I had full understanding about. I called the hotel to verify the cancellation before I tried to find another hotel for my stay. I called in and the lady stated it was indeed cancelled. I asked her if the hotel was shut down completely, due to Irma or how they picked us to cancel on such short notice (I've been booked since February, have stayed here in the past and am a Marriott rewards member). The lady stated the hotel was in full working order and she had no idea why I was cancelled. I told her the email was from Tiffany Allen (again trying to confirm what was going on) and the lady stated she had no idea who that was. I told her it said it was the front desk supervisor. The lady was confused and said all she sees is that it is cancelled. I understand the impacts of Irma but would have appreciated more than 6 days notice, as well as a phone call (what if I wouldn't have gotten the email?). This is a beautiful hotel and I am upset I can't enjoy it on my stay. I truly hope the destruction from Irma is fixed soon so I can enjoy this hotel again on my next trip to Miami.

Two star rooms. Outrageous parking fees ($30-36/day. $20/ 10hrs). If you park on street, you will pay $1.75 x 19 hours (city of Miami charges from 7 am to 2 am--parking racketeering). Lower than average food. Service charge for meals (included--mandatory tipping) is 18%. Avoid South Beach and Downtown Miami. Too many road closures and road work. Traffic is much worse than LA, NYC, or Atlanta. Toll road to Miami Beach is $2 one way. Really challenging to find parking space within a 10-mile radius. Disturbing poverty. Entire families live under bridges (10 min west of downtown). Downtown hotels are not worth the money. Better experience 35 miles north. Looks like there is significant number of fake reviews for this hotel. Beware.
