Golfing legend Ernie Els brings a taste of South Africa to South Florida via this casj-cool grill and wine bar. Warm, cozy, date-night digs backdrop the laid-back, wallet-friendly, comfort fare, which includes humongous hand cut steaks, line-caught fish, still-twitching seafood, Saffa classics like Bobotie spring rolls and Boerewors sausage, and – of course – a stellar selection of top quaffs. Good wine, good meat, good grief, let’s eat!

Amazing - service is stellar, food is exceptional and drinks are reasonably priced. This was truly a dining experience - with Gerry as a server and even Michelle the manager - very attentive, responsive, entertaining and altogether outstanding. This added a distinctive quality to the dinner, which was a wonderful blend of flavors and perfectly served. Highly recommend and will return!

Poor experience. Word of advise do not Order the seafood pot ... its $46 USD and marketed as some extravagant seafood hot pot meal.. its literally a bowl of broth with a handful of mussels, I complained because it was not filling at all , merely a few bites and they did not discount the food. However the Service staff was lovely and drinks were good. But this one item on the menu was misleading and disappointing that they charged me even after i expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction.

Our medium rare hamberger arrived well done and cold. We got that same results on the second one they brought to correct the first. The Nigerian shrimp were dry, difficult to remove from their shells and not worth the $38 price tag for six (6) dry shrimp with a slight smell of preservative. The roasted Brussels spouts however, were excellent.

The prices aren’t representative of the quality of food, and not in a good way. This is a typical pub, but because of its location it can mark up its prices, and it does. The food is above average, with a radiant couscous but a very subpar, dry chicken sandwich. The Tropical IPA will leave you smiling. Aside from this, the service is impeccable and the walk after the food is great as well, with Brickell City Centre’s sights and sounds to accompany you.

We went with a group of 11 to celebrate a milestone birthday, and were treated with "white glove" service. Our server Brian was great. He assisted us in choosing the right wine based on other wines we told him we liked, and attended to our every need. The food was excellent. The mushroom flatbread was delicious, as was the bison steak and chocolate bread pudding. I highly recommend Big Easy and any other restaurant managed by Grove Bay hospitality. They have never let me down.
