At the SLS Hotel in Brickell, you will find the Bazaar Mar restaurant, whose fame rests on the laureate Spanish chef Jose Andrés, who as a young man settled in Washington and from there he has dedicated for more than 20 years to reinvent the dishes of the Latin, Caribbean, Asian and of course, Spanish cultures. Each creation contains the taste memory of his homeland, which invites to a trip of unique flavors and aromas. The presentations of the dishes, in many cases de-construction of famous meals, are beautiful works of art. And of course, there are some creations in honor of the master of modern gastronomy, Ferran Adrià. Bazaar MAR specializes in seafood, which is combined with ingredients and dishes of the Spanish cuisine. It has a good selection of wines and a warm bar that invites you to enjoy the moment. The atmosphere is cozy and the place has a bold and striking decoration.

Great place. Nice experience as you walk through tastes of many dishes. Gets pricey after going through menu.

As a Miami native and someone extremely familiar with the Brickell area I can tell you that this Miami neighborhood is saturated with restaurants and the competition is fierce. Bazaar Mar is relatively new and we gave it a shot. Nice decor and spacious with open kitchens which we love. It's hard to rate because it varies on different aspects. On service: 4.5 with plates removed, glasses changed, wine refilled. On food: 2.5 the Lion fish was excellent, the cod croquettes excellent and the key lime pie dessert was amazing. The salty potatoes, tomato bread were horrible and everything else was mediocre. We ordered the lobster croquettes - avoid these. We saw a sampler item on the menu for $75 and the server Juan Ruiz said it would consist of 7 selections picked out by the chef giving us a taste of different menu items. Sounded good to us. Long story short when we got the bill we were charged $75 per person for the sampler. 😳seriously... the waiter did not mention this nor is it found anywhere on the menu. I've never ordered a sampler anywhere and been charged per person. Lastly, we approached the manager Alexis and gave him an opportunity to correct the situation. His response was to acknowledge the issue and state that they would place a notice on the menu. Recommendation to management : Although we did not ask for anything , rather than just nodding and sending us on our way, Mr Alexis should have given us his card and offered us a bottle of wine on our next visit. Total cost of this dinner was $350. Absurd.

We brought our parents to celebrate our dads birthday. The food, ambiance and service was top notch. I let the waiter order what he recommended based off of what we like. Nick our server did an amazing job and made it an unforgettable dining experience. We plan to visit the Bazaar in South Beach in the next week which has more meat dishes. The brickell location has everything but focus is seafood which was incredible.
