Here is more information about 1306 :
According to Urban Daddy :
“You say it’s the place you’re about to spend a lot less time in because here’s a fine new establishment where you can get a damn good drink at 5am. That establishment is 1306, and it’s a homey cocktailing nook serving up heady concoctions into the wee hours, now open in Downtown. This is in the former White Room space. The one that sat empty and brooding for a few years. That is, until the guys behind Grand Central came along and gave it a completely new feel. Dark damask wallpaper, potted plants, suede armchairs and wooden curios will do that to a place. You’ll find it by locating the bright-red sign that reads “bar.” And they’ve got a Broken Shaker vet mixing drinks until 5am with suspicious names like the Mostly Harmless involving mezcal, sweet vermouth and Aperol. In case of misnomers, they’ve got plates of meats and cheeses, too.”
According to New Times :
“Such is the concept behind the 1306 front bar, a cozy place for sophisticated drinkers to enjoy from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. every night of the week. You’ll find no $3 beer special here, just a signature menu of craft cocktails designed by Virginia King of Broken Shaker fame. Tables will adorn the well-lit sidewalk outside, and happy hour takes a European twist. Instead of half-priced drinks, customers will enjoy regularly priced drinks with a complimentary food plate – meats, cheeses, and an assortment of finger foods – simply for stopping by and ordering a round. The bar component will stay rather small, like a high-end version of the Corner, if you will. That leaves the courtyard and back lot area open for 400-capacity shows and parties.” written by Kat Bein.
